Kristyn Harrington is a neurological physiotherapist with special interest in traumatic brain injury, stroke, cerebral palsy and paediatrics. She obtained her Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of British Columbia after completing her Bachelor of Human Kinetics in Kinesiology and Health Science in 2010. During her undergraduate education, Kristyn played as a varsity athlete on the UBC Women’s field hockey team.
Kristyn has training in both the Neuro-Development Treatment (NDT) and Bobath Treatment approaches, as well as treatment of concussions and facial nerve palsies. She has experience in the rehabilitation of a wide variety of neurological conditions in both adults and children. Kristyn has been trained in Early Steps Intervention for children with Cerebral Palsy and attends the annual Paediatric Symposium at BC Children’s Hospital to keep up with the latest research.
