EMMA CLARK

PHYSIOTHERAPIST (BSc MScPT)

Emma is a registered physiotherapist and UESCA qualified ultramarathon coach. She completed her BSc (Honours) in Life Science and Health at Queen’s University and her MSc in Physiotherapy from Oxford Brookes, in the UK where her dissertation focused on the injury experiences of both adventure and traditional athletes partaking in international level sport. She is personally an avid trail runner, climber and adventurer.

Emma loves to combine her experience of working as a personal trainer, coach and physiotherapist to help people get back to what they love doing and become more resilient after injury. She believes in a multimodal approach, focusing on the individual needs of the patient, exercise prescription and manual therapy.

Emma has a wide range of experience having worked in both hospitals and private practice. After graduation, Emma spent some time living in Scotland where she first worked in a treatment center working with injured first responders with a range of sporting, musculoskeletal and neurological injuries. She also worked at a private practice in Glasgow treating people with a variety of sport and non-sport related injuries (such as post-car accident). Emma has experience working with active populations in mountain towns and understands how important it is for people to be able to continue to pursue their passions, whatever they may be!

Emma is always striving to continue her education, and has certificates in sports massage, as well as FMS Level 1. She will continue taking new courses and pursuing knowledge in her areas of interest. She also offers coaching services.
