Karen graduated from UBC’s physiotherapy program in 2006. She moved to Squamish in 2007 and has been working in the community in public and private practice ever since. She is a strong believer in continual professional growth through education. She has completed her Level 3 manual therapy courses through the Canadian Orthopedic Division. She has taken post-graduate courses/training in Gunn IMS, vestibular rehabilitation, soft tissue work, the Mulligan Concept, acupuncture, Kinetic Link Training, arthritis, joint replacement rehabilitation, and shoulder rehabilitation. She is an active member of the Physiotherapy Association of British Columbia (PABC).

Karen enjoys treating a wide variety of conditions, especially post orthopaedic surgeries, such as knee and shoulder surgeries and running injuries. Her treatments provide a one on one personal approach with an individualized treatment program. Karen believes in enabling her clients to gain ownership of their rehabilitation process in order to reach their physiotherapy goals. Outside of work, Karen enjoys skiing, running, swimming, hiking, and biking.
